ABOUT
Jæk
A Music Production engineer graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico with a passion for the sound universe that led me to study Sound Design for Visual Media at Vancouver Film School. My journey of more than five years in the world of sound began with curiosity about how music resonates and influences emotions, evolving into a deep love of delving into the complexities of sound.
I pride myself on being a chameleonic person: versatile, adaptable and multifaceted. As a composer, singer, lyricist, music and sound editor, recording engineer, boom operator, mixer, foley artist, programmer, sound designer and implementer, I have collaborated with bands such as Virgil and Tripoli, contributed to film productions such as Birdie and The Delusion and video games like Alchemy Frogs.
For me, sound is like a time machine, it has the power to transport us to any place and time, to move us between what we know and what we didn't even think could exist. I like to be able to create and intensify experiences, emotions and sensations in people. With every project, I stay true to my core values: honesty and a genuine passion for sound.
